With over 20 years of experience in both bear hunting and fishing, I am Capt. Matthew Nukho, a passionate outdoor enthusiast who has traveled across North America to pursue my love for the outdoors. Originally from NYC, I spent my youth fishing the Atlantic Ocean, chasing striped bass, bluefish, and other saltwater predators. I've also fished some of the most pristine freshwater reservoirs, targeting bass, pike, walleye, and brook trout.

When I moved to Niagara, I instantly fell in love with the area—the scenic lakeshore roads, stunning sand beaches, world-renowned wineries, incredible restaurants, and the vibrant nightlife on Clifton Hill all make Niagara a perfect destination for families. And, of course, the awe-inspiring Niagara Falls is a must-see while you're here.

Fishing has always been my mental escape, and over the years, I’ve honed my skills to not only enjoy the sport but to teach others. My goal is for you to experience fishing the way I do, and to take the knowledge you gain with me to apply in your own waters back home.

Now living between two great lakes—Lake Ontario and Lake Erie—I’m in the perfect position to offer expert fishing experiences year-round, targeting a variety of species. The mighty Niagara River, where these two lakes meet, adds even more opportunity for an incredible fishing adventure. In addition to my fishing expertise, I bring over two decades of experience in bear hunting and animal conservation.
