Tent Accommodation – What You Need to Know
We encourage all guests to bring their own tent for several important reasons:
However, if you do not have your own tent, we offer tent rentals for $25 per night.
This fee helps cover the cleaning and disinfecting process to ensure the tent is properly sanitized and ready for the next guest.
If you require a rental tent, please let us know prior to your arrival so we can have it set up and ready for you.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
Crossbow Rentals – Available at Camp
We offer crossbow rentals for $50 per day, with an additional $60 replacement fee if a bolt and broadhead are used during your hunt—which you’ll get to keep as a memento of your successful harvest.
Why Rent a Crossbow?
There are several reasons why a rental may be the right choice:
Equipment Quality & Use
All of our rental crossbows are current models and in brand-new condition.
Before heading into the field, we will walk you through the proper procedures for operating the crossbow and answer any questions you may have to ensure you’re confident and safe when using the equipment.
⚠️ Important: If the crossbow is damaged due to neglect, carelessness, or failure to follow proper procedures, you will be held financially responsible for any repair or replacement costs.
If you’re interested in renting a crossbow, please contact us in advance so we can reserve one for your hunt.
Shared BBQ Griddle – Camp Use Guidelines
We provide a shared BBQ griddle for cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner, available to all members in camp. To ensure it remains clean and ready for everyone:
If you have any special dietary or religious restrictions, please be aware that we cannot guarantee the griddle will be free from cross-contamination.
In such cases, you will be required to bring your own cooking gear to meet your specific needs.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a clean and respectful camp environment.
Camp Power & Convenience
A gas generator will be available at camp to power the lights and fans for your comfort and convenience.
It will also be used to charge phones, camera equipment, and any other devices you may need during your stay.
Please bring your own required plugs, adapters, and extension cords if you need them.
For safety reasons—due to the risk of fire or overheating in the forest—the generator will only be operated when someone is present at camp and only when required. This ensures a safe environment for everyone and helps protect our surrounding wilderness.
Please feel free to make use of this service while you’re at camp.
Firewood & Campfire Safety
Firewood and a fire pit will be provided for your use.
Campfires are an iconic part of camping—especially here at Bear Camp. To fully enjoy this experience, be sure to bring a comfortable camp chair to relax by the fire.
Please ensure that fires are never left unattended at any time. For your safety and the safety of the surrounding environment, it’s crucial to always have someone monitoring the fire.
A fire extinguisher will be on site for emergencies.
Do not throw grease, gasoline, oil, or any other flammable liquids into the fire. This helps prevent dangerous flare-ups and protects both campers and the natural habitat.
Safety for ourselves and the environment is of the utmost importance—thank you for your cooperation.
Community Tent & Shared Facilities
A community tent measuring 10 feet wide by 20 feet long with tables and chairs is available for all guests to use. These spaces are to be shared respectfully and cleaned by everyone after use to maintain a welcoming environment for all.
Garbage bins will be provided for disposing of plastics, glass, Styrofoam, and any other materials that cannot be burned in the fire pit.
Additionally, there is a designated cooking tent for the BBQ, allowing you to prepare meals comfortably regardless of the weather.
Thank you for helping keep our camp clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone.
Designated Bow Practice Area & Firearm Safety
We provide a designated area where you can hone your bow skills on a practice bag. Please use only field tips when shooting at the bag to prevent damage to the bag.
Safety is everyone’s responsibility and must be taken seriously at all times.
No loaded firearms are allowed in camp at any time—zero tolerance.
All firearms must remain unloaded and safely stored while in camp. Firearms and bows may only be loaded, that includes attaching your magazine, when you are sitting in your tree stand or blind. You must unload your firearm and bow before leaving your stand or blind. Please ensure you have a suitable case to securely store your firearm or bow after dark.
Transporting loaded firearms to and from the hunting site is strictly prohibited.
Any misconduct, dangerous use, or improper handling of firearms or the practice range will be addressed promptly and may result in forfeiture of your hunt and immediate removal from camp—no refunds will be issued.
Thank you for respecting these rules and helping maintain a safe environment for all hunters.
There is ample parking at camp for trucks and trailers if needed. Both trucks and cars can access the campsite via a logging road. Please be mindful of your surroundings, as rocks and boulders create uneven ground in some areas. Make sure to park in a spot that is suitable for your vehicle to avoid any damage.
We provide transportation to and from the hunting site in a 6-seater side-by-side vehicle and will accompany you to and from your tree stand or blind, if required.
If you have any physical limitations or special needs, please let us know prior to your arrival at camp so we can do our best to accommodate you.
For your safety, please remain in your stand or blind until you are picked up unless otherwise discussed.
